Linda Butcher, LMFT – Owner and Lead Therapist

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Houston – Victoria in 1991 and a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2003. I have been licensed by the state of Texas as a marriage and family therapist since 2005.

I interned at Texas Children's Hospital in the Learning Support Center where I gained specialized training in play therapy, group therapy and family therapy. I earned supervised hours toward my license at Youth & Family Counseling Services from 2005 to 2008. I expanded my experience by providing group therapy to seniors in an intensive outpatient program at Sweeny Hospital.

Prior to opening my own private practice in Wharton, I worked as a contract therapist for Texas Family Solutions, LLC, in Lake Jackson. I look forward to serving the mental and behavioral need of Wharton and surrounding counties.
